New 1.1 Alpha Update!


I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for giving the game a try over the weekend, and a special shoutout to those who left feedback! I will always try my best to be very open to constructive criticism, that's a huge perk of developing a game in this way. 

After some hard work and trying to take the things that were said to heart, here is our changelog:

-character controller changes

-character no longer has variable jump height. 

-increased player move speed from 500 to 700

-increased jump force from -1000 to -1500

-increased gravity from 1900 to 4000

-increased max fall speed

-enemy changes

-increased enemy gravity.

-enemy now has a "chase" mode. this mode activates if you are too close, damage, or get damaged by the enemy. 

-"Chase" mode will have enemy chase the player at 2x speed until the player is too far away. Enemy will also stop chasing if lead to a cliff. 

-made background music a little quieter

-fixed issue with level 6 of golf minigame not being able to leave start area

-fixed issue with xp being shown as a float instead of int. 

-fixed issue with knockback not properly being applied to enemy

-reduced amount player gets knocked back by half

-adjusted map to compensate for enemies charging at you
